The club books an artist to demonstrate at the opening meeting of the year, in March. This year it was Ian Coleman, Ian has a background in advertising illustration and works with thin oils on board. Past demonstrators have been Barry Herman, watercolourist, Rupert Aker, with fast, dramatic palette knife oil paintings., Doug Eaton and Arborealist, Richard Bavin. We also have a tutor at three of the Plein Air Venues during the summer, the day begins with a demonstration or talk by our visiting artist who is then on hand throughout the day to offer tips and advice to those who need it.
